About this program

Lamar Trailers Inc. operates the Employee Fleet Trailer Rental program, which allows Lamar Trailers employees to reserve and borrow company trailers for personal use. These terms govern the text message notifications we send to participants in that program.

This program is available only to current Lamar Trailers employees who have enrolled in the Employee Fleet Trailer Rental program. It is not open to the general public or to our customers.

What messages you will receive

If you opt in, you will receive service messages relating to your own trailer reservations only. These are transactional notifications, not marketing or promotional messages. They include:

• Confirmation when you reserve a trailer
• Reminders before a trailer is due back, including return instructions
• Notices when a trailer is overdue
• Notices when your driver’s license, insurance, or signed rental agreement has expired or is about to expire

We do not send advertising, sales, or promotional text messages through this program.

Consent and autodialer notice

By checking the consent box and providing your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from Lamar Trailers Inc. sent using an autodialer or automated technology.

Your consent is not a condition of any purchase, of your employment, or of your participation in the Employee Fleet Trailer Rental program. You can enroll in the program, reserve trailers, and receive all the same information by email without ever agreeing to text messages.

Consent is optional and is never assumed. Both the mobile number field and the consent checkbox are optional when you enroll.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your own rental activity. Most participants receive fewer than five messages per month. If you have no active or upcoming reservation and all your documents are current, you will typically receive no messages at all.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Lamar Trailers does not charge you for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages depending on your plan. Please contact your carrier for details about your plan.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts.

You may also opt out by:

• Asking any Lamar Trailers front office staff member to turn text notifications off for you
• Turning them off yourself in the Employee Fleet rental portal

Opting out of text messages does not remove you from the Employee Fleet Trailer Rental program. You will continue to receive the same notifications by email.

Supported carriers and delivery

This program is available on most major U.S. and Canadian mobile carriers. Message delivery is not guaranteed.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Lamar Trailers is not responsible for messages that fail to arrive, arrive late, or are blocked or filtered by your carrier or device. Do not rely solely on text messages for time-sensitive obligations such as returning a trailer on time; your rental agreement remains binding regardless of whether you receive a reminder.

Your information

We collect your mobile number only from you directly, either when you enroll through the Employee Fleet rental portal or when you provide it in person to a staff member. We record the date you consented and the wording you agreed to.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with our messaging service provider for the sole purpose of delivering the messages described above.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a current Lamar Trailers employee enrolled in the Employee Fleet Trailer Rental program. You must be the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled participants, and continuing to receive messages after a change indicates acceptance. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
