cylinder won’t retract motor

excessive heat from unit
reservoir overflows

cylinder extends while not operating

Causes
The most common causes of pump issues to the least common are listed below.
low battery voltage
poor ground connection
packing on cylinder rod worn out
coil not energizing
loose inlet
directional valve not shifting
dirty contacts in hand control
check hand control
bad seals in cylinder
clogged orifice
bad start solenoid
thermal pressure lock coil
pump not priming
bad diode
debris in load holding valve
hoses connected backwards
rust in motor
additional valving on cylinder
